THE TWYFORD is a performing arts and community venue located in Merimbula on the Sapphire Coast of NSW Australia.
We work, meet and perform on the lands of the Djiringanj people. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and to all First Nations people visiting and working in our venue.
Twyford Hall was built on this site in 1931 by the people of Merimbula on land held in Trust for the community.
In addition to the Hall, a new Theatre and Foyer Bar/Cafe are nearing completion behind the Hall and are expected to open in early 2024.
We host professional touring and community performances, rehearsals, meetings, exhibitions, conferences, arts markets and workshops, functions, book launches, community events and film & music festivals.
