We also use Facebook, Instagram and TikTok to promote events hosted by our venue.

We use the Mailerlite online platform to create and distribute e-newsletters to interested subscribers.

We use the GiveNow donation platform to handle one off or ongoing donations to The Twyford Hall Complex Ltd.

Material on our website and social media and news platforms remains the copyright of The Twyford Hall Complex Ltd. Where permission has been granted by individuals or corporations for use of their photos, videos or documents on this website, material may not be further copied,  shared or reproduced without permission of The Twyford Hall Complex Ltd or the original copyright holder.

Data is collected in order to manage and direct your enquiries to the responsible person at The Twyford Hall Complex Ltd.

Data collected by forms and cookies on our website and forwarded to The Twyford Hall Complex Ltd includes:

  • Venue Hire: first and last name, phone number, email address, organisation name, booking request details
  • Contact: first and last name, phone number, email address and comments
  • Subscribe: first and last name, email address and postcode
  • Sponsor: first and last name, position, organisation name, phone number, email address, type of sponsor, sponsor offer category
  • IP address

Ticket Purchases

Booking Links on this website take you to our ticketing platform TryBooking.

Data collected by forms and cookies on TryBooking include:

  • Ticket buyer’s first and last name, phone number, email address, address, postcode, seat booking details and an opt-in selection to receive further information from the event organiser, should you so choose.

The above details are used by The Twyford Hall Complex Ltd to manage event bookings, changes to seats/sessions, process refunds and other ticketing-related processes.

  • Credit or debit card details, expiry date and CVC

Card details are managed by the TryBooking’s third party payment gateway – we do not store any credit card information ourselves. You will be redirected from our site to a third party payment gateway to pay for donations, gift certificates or ticketing services and those services are responsible for keeping your data safe. See Payment Gateways below

Purchasers may be contacted directly by The Twyford’s box office staff to answer a query from a ticket buyer, or to check certain details relating to a booking (eg seat changes, refunds or wheelchair space needs).

If the patron has opted-in to receive further information from us in addition to the above ticketing transaction, they do so on the TryBooking Checkout screen. For this purpose, only the name, email address and postcode of the ticket buyer is retained by The Twyford Hall Complex Ltd for ticket buyers who have opted in.

This information is added to our Mailerlite platform for interested patrons who wish to receive e-newsletters about upcoming events. Patrons can unsubscribe from this database at any time using the unsubscribe link on the e-newsletter email or by contacting The Twyford directly to do so on their behalf.

Some workshop-style or catered event bookings entered by a ticket buyer may also ask for additional details about individual participants – such as individual participant’s name, special needs, or dietary requirements – that an event organised needs to be aware of. Such data is not retained by The Twyford for marketing purposes.

Summary data in the form of a revenue report is reported to the Producer as part of the box office report, however no individual details of patrons are visible in this report.

If you subscribe to The Twyford eNews from our website, your data will be collected in our database hosted by MailerLite, which is a third party cloud system for building and maintaining client contact details and sending e-newsletters. You can unsubscribe from that list at any time using the details in the email sent to you when you subscribed, or at the bottom of an e-news email.

Changing Data or Terminating Data

If you are unable to work out how to correct or delete your details held by us, or how to unsubscribe from our email list, please contact us and your details will be corrected / deleted by us.

We will endeavour at all times to keep your data safe, will not sell your data to any third party, and will not your reveal your details to third parties – except as provided below – or as required by state law in NSW or by federal law in Australia.

Payment Gateways

  • Ticketing for events presented by The Twyford is handled through TryBooking.  Information gathered in order to process your booking, tickets, merchandise purchases, rescheduling and refunds includes: first name, last name, address, email address, phone, number and type of tickets, event details, merchandise details, date of payment and amount paid.
  • Some workshop-style or catered events may also ask for additional details about individual participant(s) – such as individual participant’s name, age (if under 18), medical or special needs, or dietary requirements. This data is not retained by The Twyford for marketing purposes.
  • TryBooking collects credit card or direct debit card account details in order to process the payment, but these details are not passed on to The Twyford Hall Complex Ltd. For phone bookings, data is typed directly into TryBooking and is not stored by The Twyford Hall Complex Ltd.
  • Our Donate page redirects you to our GiveNow payment gateway for the Twyford Hall Incorporated Theatre Project Building Fund. The gateway is administered independently by GiveNow and no payment details are stored on our website.
  • Information gathered from donors and passed on to us includes: first name, last name, address, email address, phone, amount & frequency of donation, business name (if applicable), whether donation is anonymous (ie should not be publicised on our website or other publicly visible platform), preferred plaque name (if donating $1000 or more), email addresses of anyone else to be notified, and comments.
  • Depending on the payment method you choose, GiveNow will also collect credit card or direct credit account details in order to process the payment, but these details are not passed on to The Twyford Hall Complex Ltd.
