The Twyford has 2 Dressing Rooms that can be used by performers in the Theatre or Hall. Either Dressing Room may also serve as a Green Room. Extra large productions can hire the Hall as extra dressing room or Green Room space. Hirers to provide their own bath towels if required.
ACCESSIBILITY
- Access to the Lower Dressing Room is via the Market Street Stage door (between Horizon Bank and Superette Bar) using a keycode access pad. Ramp to stage level and Lower Dressing Room. Sliding door into dressing room. Handle into accessible unisex bathroom. Wheelchair height bench for up to 2 patrons. Accessible seat in shower, LH accessible toilet and handbasin in attached bathroom. This Dressing Room is located adjacent to the Theatre Stage.
- Access to the Upper Dressing Room is via the northern stairwell to Level 1, via the Market Street Stage door (between Horizon Bank and Superette Bar) using a keycode access pad. The Stages are located on the floor below the dressing room.
- The Stage Door ramp and northern stairwell have TGSIs.
- Hall performers need to cross the Theatre stage to access the Hall stage.

LOWER DRESSING ROOM
This is the smaller of our dressing rooms, located on Stage Level
- Capacity: 6+ including 2 spaces with higher bench for wheelchairs users
- Located on stage level closest to Theatre stage. Can also be accessed from Hall stage via Theatre backstage crossover.
- Flexible padded seating, benches with mirrors and mirror lighting, hat shelving
- 1 x mobile adjustable single clothing rack with a small quantity of hangers
- Theatre Stage View monitor
- Stage Manager comms speaker with volume control
- Independently controlled air conditioning/heating

This is the larger of our dressing rooms, located on Level 1

- Located on Level 1 – accessed via stairs only from Stage Level.

For extra large productions (eg dance schools), the Hall may also be hired as extra dressing room space.
