Governance

The Twyford Hall Complex Ltd (TTHCL) is a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) and not-for-profit Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG) registered with the ACNC as a charitable arts organisation. TTHCL manages The Twyford complex under a Management Agreement with the Trustee – Bega Valley Shire Council – on behalf of the community of Merimbula.

Members of the former incorporated association Twyford Hall Inc (THI) voted in 2020 to transfer the association to a not-for-profit Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG) under the NSW Fair Trading transfer arrangements. All of the existing agreements, obligations and contracts held by THI automatically transferred to The Twyford Hall Complex Ltd on 1 September 2021 and our ABN remains the same.

Our Board oversees the team managing the venue including our Operations Manager, technical staff and volunteers.

The Annual General Meeting of the Company is generally held in November each year.
