Venue Services

In addition to Venue Hire, The Twyford provides the services below. Please contact us for more details.

Free Marketing

Your event will be included in Events on our website, our Facebook pageInstagram page, e-news and a mention in our twice-daily radio spot on SapphireFM, at no charge. When the new Theatre and Foyer open, your event will also appear on our digital display screens.

The What’s On banner on the Market Street corner of Twyford Hall is suitable for A3 portrait posters, A2 landscape posters or vinyl banners. Use is free for events happening in our venue. You can book this space for your event up to 1 week ahead. Once the new Theatre is open, a digital display screen will be available outside the Main Entrance and on screens inside the venue to promote your event.

Paid Marketing

Additional marketing services such as paid ads on online media/newspaper/radio, poster printing & distribution can be arranged for a fee. We can advise you on what works for local audiences. Contact the Venue Manager for details.

Programs

We encourage you to consider the environment and avoid or reduce printed programs if possible. A QR Code or link to an online program can be made available via email to ticket holders if you are using our ticketing service, or signs with the QR code can be displayed in the entry foyers.

Ticketing & Box Office Services

The Twyford provides a full ticketing service for your event including online, phone and in-person sales. We accept a wide variety of payment methods. Ticket sales on behalf of venue hirers incur a setup fee of $50. Card fees are charged back to patrons on checkout. Tickets can be printed at home or saved on mobile devices, and are scanned by our trained ushers at the door for prompt show starts. A producer login can be provided to view ticket sales. A full box office report is provided to the Producer within 7 days of the end of your event and net box office is paid on receipt of an invoice from the Hirer/Producer. The Twyford follows the LPA Ticketing Code of Practice.

Merchandise Sales

A merchandise table can be setup on request. If you’re not handling your own sales, The Twyford staff can handle EFTPOS sales during your event for a commission, which covers our GST, credit card and processing costs. Contact the Venue Manager for details.

Food & Drink

The commercial Kitchen is a shared space and can be used for basic tea/coffee making (free) right up to full food service preparation (bookings and charges apply).

If you are planning on serving food and drinks at Hall events we recommend you also hire the Supper Room.

Twyford staff can provide and serve pre-event, interval and post-event refreshments for your event. This is normally charged back to patrons. Contact the Venue Manager for details.

Food service by outside caterers is subject to appropriate food safety certification and insurance.

Opening in 2024, the licensed Foyer Cafe/Bar will be available with refreshments served by The Twyford’s RSA qualified staff.

BYO is not permitted under our licence anywhere in the venue.

The Foyer Cafe/Bar will also be able to be hired independently for small functions when the Theatre is not in use.
