Venue Services

In addition to Venue Hire, The Twyford provides the services below. Please contact us for more details.

Free Marketing

Your event will be included in Events on our website, our Facebook pageInstagram page, e-news to subscribers and a mention in our twice-daily radio spot on SapphireFM, at no charge. Social media posts are also shared to key local groups and co-hosts.

The What’s On banner on the Market Street corner of Twyford Hall is suitable for A3 portrait format posters. Use is free for all events happening in our venue.  Please provide a high resolution 600dpi single square image without text for this purpose.

Paid Marketing

Additional marketing services such as paid ads for online media/newspaper/radio, poster printing & distribution can be arranged for a fee. We can advise you on what works for local audiences. Contact the Venue Manager for details.

Programs

We encourage you to consider the environment and avoid or minimise printed programs if possible. A QR Code or link to an online program hosted on our website can be made available via email to ticket holders and displayed in the entry foyer.

Ticketing & Box Office Services

The Twyford provides a full ticketing service for your event including online, phone and in-person sales. 95% of tickets in our venue are purchased online. We accept a wide variety of payment methods. Setup fee of $55 applies. Card fees are charged back to patrons on checkout, depending on the price of the ticket (50c + 1.5% for tickets under $20 / 50c + 2.5% for tickets $20 or more). No fees are charged for in-person sales.

Merchandise or Cafe/Bar preorders can be added to ticketing.

Tickets can be printed at home or saved to mobile devices, and are scanned by our trained ushers at the door for prompt show starts. Ushers can also check bookings on their scanning device if patrons forget their tickets.

A producer login can be provided to the Hirer/Producer to monitor ticket sales. A box office report is provided to the Producer within 7 days of the end of your event and agreed box office shares are paid on receipt of an invoice from the Hirer/Producer. The Twyford follows the LPA Ticketing Code of Practice. See more about our ticketing policies here.

Merchandise

A merchandise table can be setup on request. If you’re not handling your own sales, Twyford staff can handle EFTPOS sales during your event for a 13% commission, which covers our GST, credit card, staffing and processing costs. Contact the Venue Manager for details.

Food & Drink

The commercial Kitchen is a shared space and can be used for basic tea/coffee making (no charge) right up to full food service preparation or catered functions (bookings and additional charges apply).

The Twyford is a fully licenced venue with an On-Premises licence. The Twyford’s RSA qualified and trained staff are available to serve and supply alcohol to your guests. BYO is not permitted under our licence anywhere in the venue. Takeaway alcohol is not permitted. Contact the Venue Manager for details. Food and free water must be available during alcohol service. Cleaning

Hirers are expected to leave the venue in a tidy state and to wipe down tables, sweep floor, wipe up any spills to avoid accidents and to clean any kitchen appliances they use.

Venue hire rates include professional cleaning and sanitising of all public areas including floors, toilets and kitchen benches before and after your event. Additional cleaning during your hire period will be charged back to you.

Confetti, glitter and other difficult-to-clean materials are not permitted in our venue.

Additional cleaning fees of $55 per hour will be charged if the venue is left in an untidy state by hirers or visiting crews.

Higher fees apply for cleaning requested on Sundays/Public Holidays.

Please dispose of garbage and recycling in the bins provided, or remove from the site if you have unusually large quantities.
