Australian Pink Floyd tribute Run Like Hell returns to The Twyford to deliver an awe-inspiring show, meticulously recreating Pink Floyd’s timeless music with unmatched attention to detail.

Bask in iconic soaring guitar and sax solos, a rainbow of keyboard colours, and a breath-taking video, lights and laser production worthy of Pink Floyd. This production lovingly recreates favourites from Dark Side of the Moon through to The Division Bell, including the spine-tingling “The Great Gig in the Sky”, the epic “Echoes”, and other songs featured in Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii (1972) which was re-released in stunning 4K at IMAX cinemas around Australia in 2025. Formed in early 2020, the members of Run Like Hell spent COVID lockdowns meticulously recreating every sound, nailing every note and perfecting every pitch bend before bringing their lovingly crafted show to sell-out audiences in 2022.

BOX OFFICE AND CAFE/BAR

The Foyer Box Office and Cafe/Bar open one hour prior to the show. No BYO in our licensed venue.
Bar closes 5 minutes prior to the show to allow all patrons to be seated on time. Cafe/Bar reopens at interval. Preorder your interval drinks before the show to beat the rush.
Cold drinks and packaged snacks from our Foyer Cafe/Bar are permitted in the Theatre; hot drinks must be consumed in the Foyer.
Arrive early to buy your refreshments before taking your seat – show will start on time and latecomers will only be permitted to enter during a break in the music.
Toilets are located on the ground floor in the main entrance corridor.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS – RUN LIKE HELL

The band was formed early in 2020, just before COVID hit. “I’d been playing a lot of tribute shows for various people,” says keyboard player Peter Kirkup, “and at one of those shows a guitarist asked me who I would really like to do a tribute to? That was easy: Pink Floyd. Soon after that I met a like-minded drummer, made a few phone calls, and four of us got together for a jam. We were all huge Pink Floyd fans and everyone showed up having learnt some of our favourite songs note for note, sound for sound.”

“Rehearsing between COVID lockdowns, it became a running joke that each time we got together someone would have a new piece of gear – a guitar pedal for the ‘seagulls’ in Echoes, a set of drum skins that had the timbre of Nick Mason’s 1970’s kit, another synth in the rack that I’d programmed to replicate one of Rick’s keyboards.”

By the time music venues started to open up again the band had perfected more than two hours of material.

“We played our first show at a small club. People in the audience were probably expecting a bunch of Pink Floyd’s hit songs, but for the first half we played the Wish You Were Here album front to back. As the wash of sound that opens Shine on You Crazy Diamond slowly filled the room the audience fell to silence. You could have heard a pin drop.”
