The 7th annual Far South Film Festival returns to Merimbula, showcasing films made by regional and remote film makers from around Australia.
This festival grows bigger ever year, with film screenings, Q&As, networking events and the Awards Ceremony. Audiences can also vote for their favourite film for the People’s Choice Award!
TICKETS
- Earlybird bookings for Festival Passes and tickets for the popular Friday Night Gala are now open.
- Individual session ticket bookings will open on 22 June 2026 when the full film screenings, Q&A and Awards program will also be available.

The Far South Film Festival has been held in Merimbula since 2020 and is run by the not for profit FAR SOUTH FILM INC – an association of film makers and creatives in the South East region of NSW.
