ABOUT THE SHOW
Blues, Rock and Alt‐Country artist Corey Legge returns to the Twyford following his tour to Europe.
Corey Legge plays heartfelt blues, rock and alt-country, drawing influence from growing up amongst the fertile pastures surrounding Bega (NSW). Now based in Wollongong (NSW), Corey has released four albums in under five years, resulting in international radio airplay and a slew of support slots for high profile artists including Ash Grunwald, Dallas Frasca and Fanny Lumsden. Corey’s debut single ‘Driving out of Eden’ was shared by the legendary James Taylor, adding to the already considerably large buzz around Corey’s music and live show. Corey’s storytelling and guitar prowess are not to be missed.
In 2024, Corey released four singles, four film clips, and his fourth album ‘Moment in the Sun’, with stand-out launch shows at Echuca-Moama Winter Blues Festival (VIC) and Blues at Bridgetown (WA). In 2025 Corey has played shows across Australia, Germany, and the Netherlands. Corey has opened the show for Troy Cassar-Daley, Kingswood, and Ross Wilson & The Peaceniks.
Corey was recently announced as the most requested artist of 2024 on the Australian Country Songwriter’s Show, with ‘Moment in the Sun’ landing at #1. Corey Legge is the 2024 Australian Country Music People’s Choice Award winner for ‘Most Popular Musician or Instrumentalist’ and 2025 winner of ‘Best Video’ at Tamworth Country Music Festival.
Corey was also a finalist in 8 categories of The Sydney Blues Society 2025 Blues Awards
